However, the Xiaomi 17 Pro is no longer here to just "close the gap"; it is here to rewrite the rules of the game entirely. Imagine the raw power of a gaming PC, the quality of a professional mirrorless camera, and charging speeds that make blinking seem slow—all packed into a premium Titanium chassis. Launched at a starting price of $1,099, the Xiaomi 17 Pro makes bold claims: beating the iPhone 17 Pro Max in videography and outclassing the Galaxy S26 Ultra in zoom capabilities. But are these claims reality, or just numbers on a spec sheet? At TekinGame, we managed to get our hands on this Chinese beast to put it through its absolute limits.
1. Design & Build: Titanium Armor for the Samurai The first interaction with the Xiaomi 17 Pro is a transformative experience. If you were a user of previous iterations (like the 14 or 15 Ultra), you will
immediately notice the significant weight reduction. Xiaomi has finally ditched the heavy ceramic back in favor of Titanium Grade 5 . This is the same alloy used in aerospace engineering, offering three
times the strength of stainless steel at half the weight. The result? A 215g device that, despite its massive dimensions, does not fatigue your hand. The frame now features a brushed, matte finish that
repels fingerprints and screams luxury. The Camera Island: The camera module remains circular and massive (inevitable with a 1-inch sensor), but Xiaomi has refined it with a 24K gold-plated ring surrounding
the lenses and a smoother slope connecting it to the body. It does wobble on a table, but that is the price you pay for owning the world's best camera system. IP69 Standard: Xiaomi has gone beyond the
standard IP68. The IP69K rating means this phone can withstand not just submersion, but also high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. You could theoretically wash this phone under a hot tap (though
